Welcome

The Rotary Club of Sanford is an active civic organization that unites community leaders to create change. Our weekly meetings take place at 12 PM on Mondays at upstairs Hollerbach's, right in the heart of Downtown Sanford. Through these gatherings and special events, we foster opportunities for service, networking, and personal development. Our club upholds the values of integrity, diversity, and selfless service.

About Our Club

Colonial George W. Knight, a true hero who earned Medal of Valor, made his way to Sanford bravely serving in World I! Missing the camaraderie of his days as a Rotarian in New Jersey, he took the initiative to create an exciting new organization called “Club 13,” bringing together esteemed businessmen from various fields. Before long, the Orlando Rotary Club sent Ken Guernsey to check out Sanford’s vibrant Club 13, and he couldn't help but recommend it for a Rotary charter! On May 10, 1921, the Sanford Rotary Club was officially chartered, marking the beginning of a fantastic journey of fellowship and service!
